A casual studio shoot with Joelle at D Street Studios in Philadelphia. Set against the soft backdrop of a bedroom, the images showcase a relaxed and confident subject, effortlessly […]

Techno Goddess

I have seen UV Body painting shoots before. I have also seen split tone lighting shoots before, where it’s 2 different colors on either side. I have not seen any photos that are both. There were three 10 watt black lights and two LED panels. I also did the body painting in this shoot. We […]

Product Photos for The Wedding Dresser

This is a series of multiple photo shoots that were for client that is tailer and customizer of wedding dresses. They also sell accessories on their store so they hired me to do e-commerce and lifestyle photos for their social media and store.

Cliff Young – Signage & Banners

Cliff Young, crafters of bespoke furniture since 1968, contacted pear’s studio to design some vinyl lettering and banners to display during their renovation. We went to a couple of their workshops where they manufacture their furniture to photograph the people creating it and the pieces in the middle of being worked on. The selected photos […]

Afraid of the Dark 2021

The night before Halloween, all the critters came out to play and dance at The Paper Box in Brooklyn, NY with the sounds of… Joeski , Lenny Dee, Frankie Bones, Keoki, DANK, Tinamarie Diva, Tony Di Angelis & Tony Di Angelis Jr, John Dimateo, Serious Lee & Caylie, DJ Sacco & Andy K I was […]

Sounds So Sweet: Lunar Limbo

Went to a rave in Brooklyn to photograph a set for a DJ but I of course couldn’t resist taking photos of the crowd as well. I always love to see people full of energy and enjoying themselves.

She’s Excited!

Had a amazing time with She’s Excited! shooting in my studio. We initially went for a black & white Rembrandt look with a noir feel. But then I switch the lighting around and put a flash behind her with a LED panel light to the side. So, I’m excited with the result She’s Excited shoot! […]

Monet

The fabulous Monet came all the way up from Philadelphia to do a shoot in my studio. The weather was not cooperative. We were going to hit the street but that’s ok, we got some amazing photos. Decided to go more traditional with the lighting. I used a single flash, a softbox, and a black backdrop to […]

Preserve: Lauren & Lindsey

Preserve is a global fashion statement, with a purpose. It is a rental platform bridging the gap between cultures, advocating artisanship of South Asian designers while providing sustainable access to global fashion for the North American Market. Lauren, Lindsey, and I went out on a cold day in January, literally hours just before a snowstorm, […]

Preserve: Bally & Lindsey

I got to do a shoot with the wonderful women behind Preserve Clothing. Preserve is a South Asian designer clothing line that you can experience through rental. So keep them in mind the next time you have to dress-to-impress at your next gala or dinner party. Bally, who I have worked with before, contacted me […]

Sareena

Went to Central Park to do a set with Sareena. She wanted a somewhat darker victorian look to her images so we shot around some of the structures and foliage to try to give a more vintage look, while still preserving my style of course.

Yoana 3.0

Now it’s time for Yoana from the block. We did a little photoshoot in the neighborhood around where I live, in Brooklyn. It was October so there was, of course, a bunch of pumpkins to use as props on people’s stairs, and was a decent sunset.

Brooklyn Block Parties

Since we can’t have our clubs, we hit the streets, getting all those pent-up energies and grooves out of our system. Some people just need to dance sometimes, including myself.

Yoana 2.0

This shoot was all about experimenting with lighting and color. There were 2 or 3 points of light setup. We variated between white and color lighting, even backlighting. It made her look like a total rockstar, not saying that she isn’t in real life. She doesn’t even need a guitar as a prop.

Rebecca

Since i was going to Coney Island again for another shoot, but this time with Rebecca, I decided to add a prop and spice up the set. Went to a local candy store and got a large whirly lollipop. This gave the shoot a pinup style to it. It was a great session, I just […]

Mriganka

Mriganka took to the skies and went to the rooftop deck of her apartment building in Downtown Brooklyn to capture her with the sunset. But, we were able to get a bunch of night shots there too. We then went down to street level and got a bunch with the store lighting in the area, […]

Daria

So this was something I always wanted to do but never had the right model or the chance to do it. I always wanted to do a set of hair whip shoots, and Daria came though! I got to Coney Island at 5:30, an hour early, just to chill and sip my coffee at the […]

Afrika

Went to the beach, at Coney Island, to meet up with Afrika to do a midday shoot. Instead of the standard beach shots, which we got some of those too, but we used different props and backdrops to set the scene. I notice that her large hat was allowing pinpoints of light to cast on […]

Yoana

And now for something completely different… I joined up with Yoana originally to do a shoot at the Brooklyn Museum of Art to capture her with a few statues, wearing the pink dress. After that, she decided to meet up the next day to go with me to the Green-Wood Cemetery to continue the statue […]
