A new year, a new look.
As we switch our calendars and enter a new year, Josh Pears & Pear’s Studio has rebranded ourselves to reflect our vision and voice. Not much has changed with josh pears, except for the logo, but pear’s studio has been reinvented from the ground up. There is a whole article about the new branding of Pear’s Studio on the new site. Please visit the site and have a little tour. There are a bunch of fun visual extras that you might enjoy. This article is just a synopsis and a viewing of Josh Pears and Pear’s Studio beside each other.
Hello logo.
If you don’t already know, Pear’s Studio is the agency that I am the founder of and creative for. Josh Pears is all of my creativity, unrestricted. So it’s not just client work. It’s all the other things I do plus the stuff that I do for Pear’s Studio.
As mentioned in the article on pear’s studio… We wanted a font that conveyed our voice, personality, and the way we approach business. As a bold bunch who relish what we do, we decided to have fun with it. We chose the “All Round Gothic” font created by Ryoichi Tsunekawa to reflect our interest in art deco, postmodernism, and futurism.
The Josh Pears logo used a similar idea. Using the flat 3D concept with the magenta to cyan gradient to reflect the theming of the site. The colors that are used in my “fear no art” concept and theology. The “J” is elongated to add balance and to symbolize a cursor or an indentation. The cursor/indentation symbolism represents that I am always created and always move forward.
Please feel free to check out Josh Pear’s & Pear’s Studio websites and the social media, which are all linked on the home page of this website. We are especially active on Instagram!
